Assist MBUSI with missing parts and getting parts to the line to prevent vehicles from going offline.

Responsibilities:
- Prevent vehicles going off Final 4 with any PCC1 related missing parts.
- Missing parts communicated with the MBUSI MPC office and receive ETA of missing parts.
- Log all vehicles that have PCC1 related parts that are missing.
- Log missing parts that KSP cells handle and assist in getting the parts placed in the vehicles.
- Watch issue boards at T6, F4 and WSA for missing parts. Record any missing parts and resolve issues if possible.
- Ability to keep good records and documentation.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
- Assure all documentation is error free and completed in a timely manner.

The underground miner trainee is required by state and federal law to be under direct supervision of an experienced, spotter-certified miner for a period of at least 45 working shifts. The miner trainee shall provide operational support as it pertains to performing various general/manual labor duties on a frequent basis as assigned. Under the guidance of a Foreman, provide support to areas of the assigned Warrior Met Coal Mine related to all maintenance related tasks, both electrical and mechanical including installing, inspecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment and installations. Also, provide support in maintaining the safety and compliance of equipment and installations. Must have MSHA Electrical Qualification as required by CFR 75.153 and 77.103.
Essential Functions:

Electrical Examinations – Conduct Daily, Weekly, and Monthly electrical examinations in order to ensure the compliance and safety of Warrior Met Coal electrical equipment and installations. Document and record that such examinations and inspections were completed.
Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance – Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and safety of Warrior Met Coal equipment and facilities.
Electrical Installation – Install electrical components in order to support all installations and equipment in the production of coal.
Electrical Troubleshooting – Must read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, and use test instruments in order to troubleshoot and repair electrical installations and equipment.

The Industrial Engineer is a full-time employee that typically supports the day to day functions of the engineering department through various methods of continuous improvement and projects of specialized assignment. The Industrial Engineer shall provide operational support as it pertains to performing various duties on frequent basis as assigned so that goals of the mine or department are met. Performance of these and other associated duties in a manner consistent with all applicable procedures, plans, policies, practices, environmental, health or safety rules or legal requirements.
Job Objective: Has no formal role in managing projects but through project participation, acquires project management skills as well as continuous improvement skills.

Essential Functions

Participate in the day to day operations of continuous improvement at the mine site through the oversight, supervision, and roll-out of continuous improvement initiatives through processes determined by the engineering methods and standards. Determine location, sequence and timing of project to address large performance gaps.
Facilitate the completion of mine activities by planning and supervising construction, rehabilitation, or production projects.
By way of methods such as time studies, make recommendations to mine management and frontline supervisors of evaluated data to improve production standards. Conducts diagnostics to identify opportunities while working with front-line areas to determine performance standards and reporting back through the engineering department
Other duties as assigned by management

Coordinate and supervise power distribution and communication system projects for both new installations and modifications to existing systems; provide support for these systems in the form of 24/7 emergency maintenance and troubleshooting, power quality analysis, documentation, and cost analysis.
Essential Functions (95%)

Power Distribution Project Management (50%). Plan and coordinate with contractors the construction of power lines, substations, and power feeds as needed for all surface installations. Create and/or provide all necessary documentation and operating instructions.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting (20%). Provide support for surface power distribution systems including but not limited to power lines, substations, protective relay and fuse coordination, vacuum circuit breakers, power cables, deep-well pumps, motors, bore-hole power feeds, transformers, and ventilation fans. Perform preventative maintenance including thermal imaging, power demand analysis, and power quality studies. On call 24/7.

Data and Communication Systems (15%). Provide support for surface fiber optic network, SCADA radio network, long-range wireless Ethernet, and RFID Smartcard readers. Coordinate projects for expansion of these systems as needed.

Energy Account Management (10%). Organize and maintain energy account records. Periodically review accounts to maintain optimal cost efficiency. Create annual reports of power costs and 5-year forecasts. Negotiate and review new contracts with Alabama Power Company as needed. Conduct periodic power quality studies with Alabama Power Company’s power quality group.

Additional Functions (5%)

Other duties as assigned by supervisor or department head.

Entry level salary position in the Mine Safety Department. The applicant will be assigned as a General Inside Labor the first four (4) months of the program. At the completion of that period, the individual will be assigned to the Safety Department as a trainee to gain understand of mine safety and the responsibilities of the safety department. At the completion of the training program, the individual will be assigned as a Safety Supervisor.

The HR Analyst role performs a variety of duties as a member of the Human Resources team, providing human resources, payroll and benefits support to employees within Warrior Met Coal and externally.

Job Objective: A HR Analyst will provide efficient and customer-friendly service in all aspects of human resources and specifically in the areas of new hire onboarding, data entry, payroll and benefits. Their duties include, but are not limited to:

Input and maintain data in HCM system
Provide support to newly hired employees during Onboarding
Process cases with payroll and benefit vendors in regards to insurance, payroll and support orders
Assist Warrior Met Coal employees with issues regarding employee self-service, payroll, benefits and other HR-related items

- Operational support as it pertains to performing various general/manual labor duties on frequent basis as assigned. Performance of these and other associated duties in a manner consistent with all applicable procedures, plans, policies, practices, environmental, health or safety rules or legal requirements.
- Perform various general/manual labor duties on frequent basis such as shoveling; applying rock dust; gathering and delivering supplies and materials; greasing conveyor belt rollers, tailpieces and head drives; assisting other miners in performing their duties, etc.
- Assist in moving the section, which primarily involves installing/retrieving mine conveyor belt, associated structure and devices, and moving up/pulling back the section main electrical power distribution center, battery chargers and associated electrical cables.
- May be required to operate mining equipment on an as needed basis.
- Conduct all work activities in compliance with Federal and State coal mining laws and Company policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
- Must be able to follow specific instructions while maintaining acceptable established standards of work performance and conduct, show necessary and consistent energy, as well as acceptable mental and physical dexterity, for the satisfactory completion of the essential duties as defined.

The Foreman’s primary purpose is to supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of all mine operations personnel.



- Provide leadership to all mining activities, ensuring work is being completed in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
- Control all allocated labor to ensure maximum availability of resources by managing absenteeism and taking corrective action where applicable.
- Coordinate resources to maintain and enhance critical equipment performance and availability through best business practices.
- Supervise, train, and develop assigned team members as required.
- Establish good working relationships with other departments.


Production, Efficiency and Cost Control

- Coordinate equipment usage to ensure efficient and effective achievement of operational objectives.
- Analyze equipment rates and make changes to daily operational plans as necessary, based on mining conditions.
- Ensure achievement of production targets by maintaining operational objectives.
- Ensures all administrative data for the operations is generated accurately and in a timely manner; including all equipment and personnel time sheets and log books as well as daily diaries and production reports as required.
- Ensure that all records on equipment utilization (i.e. hours, pre-start checklists and utilized hours, are recorded on a daily basis.)
- Report performance breakdowns, equipment damage, safety near misses, incidents and accidents according to established procedures.
- Implement daily, weekly and monthly operational plans and objectives, in accordance with production plan requirements.
- Assesses employee performance against objectives on a regular basis as per Company policy and take corrective action where required.
- Implement and maintain operating procedures to ensure safe and effective operation of the mine.
- Implement actions to optimize mining process performance and attain efficiency targets in the areas of: labor productivity, equipment availability, utilization, and material consumption.
- Participate actively with the technical services group to support the development of optimum mining short and long-term plans.
- Develop and implement area work ownership with resources to maintain appropriate balance of workload with priority to equipment availability.
- Investigate accidents and near misses with a view toward positive action, emphasis on prevention through training, equipment set-up or equipment repair and report on findings and conclusions.
- Identify haul roads and dumpsites that need repair and ensure deviations are rectified.

- Improve on safety standards by holding safety meetings, conducting safety interactions and taking corrective action where required.
- Ensure adherence to State, Federal and Company workplace policies and standard work procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control;

Safe and efficient operation of the gas processing plant. Operate and maintain a natural gas processing plant. Applicant must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicant must also have at least basic mechanical skills, as well as an understanding of the basics of pressures and flows in pipes. More advanced knowledge/experience with pumps and compressors is highly desirable. Basic computer skills (typing, email) required.
Essential Functions (90%)

- Operate and monitor plant functions

- Interact with the gas supplier (Black Warrior Methane field operators)

The job entails an average 42-hour work week (at minimum) with 12 hours on 12 hours off for 7 days. Then off for 7 days. Shifts rotate between day and night. Overtime is common to cover for other operators off on vacation, sick days, etc. Most of the time the operator is alone at the site. There will be a 90 day probationary period.

Operate bulldozers, loaders and other preparation equipment of varying sizes in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure equipment is clean, conduct pre-op checks before operation and report any citable conditions or performance issues with equipment.
Essential Functions (95%)

Safely and efficiently operate varying size dozers on surge piles feeding raw and clean coal feeders. (35%)
Safely and efficiently perform rough grading and spreading of prep plant coarse refuse on an engineered rock dump (35%)
Safely and efficiently run WA600 and 980 sized loaders to move material, grade roads and load trucks. Operate 40 ton haul trucks to move coarse refuse from rock bin and dump for spreading. (20%)
Performs the required pre-operation equipment safety checks and maintenance checks prior to operating the equipment. Corrects and/or reports and deficiencies found during pre-operation check and cleans equipment if necessary. (5%)
Additional Functions (5%):

Preform other duties as may be assigned by management.

Based on Enterprise and Compliance risks, assists with establishing the annual audit program for the department. Assists with designing the control testing plan. Leads the documentation efforts for the Company’s controls, including assisting with supervision of any external parties. The Industrial Engineer is a full-time employee that typically supports the day to day functions of the engineering department through various methods of continuous improvement and projects of specialized assignment. The Industrial Engineer shall provide operational support as it pertains to performing various duties on frequent basis as assigned so that goals of the mine or department are met. Performance of these and other associated duties in a manner consistent with all applicable procedures, plans, policies, practices, environmental, health or safety rules or legal requirements.
Job Objective: Has no formal role in managing projects but through project participation, acquires project management skills as well as continuous improvement skills.

Essential Functions

- Participate in the day to day operations of continuous improvement at the mine site through the oversight, supervision, and roll-out of continuous improvement initiatives through processes determined by the engineering methods and standards. Determine location, sequence and timing of project to address large performance gaps.
- Facilitate the completion of mine activities by planning and supervising construction, rehabilitation, or production projects.
- By way of methods such as time studies, make recommendations to mine management and frontline supervisors of evaluated data to improve production standards. Conducts diagnostics to identify opportunities while working with front-line areas to determine performance standards and reporting back through the engineering department
